We are located in Sujiyu. Hydrotherapy has been beloved by many people over the years. Our hot spring has the reputation of being able to alleviate the tension on the human body such as stiff shoulders and sore muscles. “Suji” in Japanese means muscles, “Yu” means hot spring, hence the name Sujiyu.
“Hanashinobu” is a plant which has beautiful purple flowers and is only found in the Kyushu / Aso area. The meaning of this flower is “Waiting for you”. Like this flower, we look forward to seeing you.
We use fresh local ingredients that are produced in Kokonoe. Our guests will enjoy the finest Japanese cuisine. We provide our guests varieties of dishes through the four seasons of the year.
Our hotel has three hot springs inside the onsen block, four outdoor hot springs which we converted Japanese traditional storehouses into hot springs. The outdoor baths are surrounded by breath taking Kinyu nature views which will make you feel liberated. Each of them can be used as a family bath where you can exclusively enjoy our baths all to yourself.
Japanese onsen often has different types of baths. Utaseyu is one of them. The waterfall shower falls from high above that massages your shoulders.
